steering wheel sound
Greetings
I have a whining sound in my steering wheel 2002 RX AWD.
It doesn't happen often and I want to address it before it
becomes a problem.

Most likely the noise is originating from where the steering column goes through the firewall. Apply some white lithium grease down there and it should quiet it down.

lol, my daughter named the car "Mouse" when we first gave it to her, due to the faint intermittent squeak of the steering. She was mad when I sprayed it with silicone and it went away. After her accident that tore the axle off the car she calls it "Frankenmouse"!
