CV Boot Grease Leak Driver's Side

You decide what is best for you. If you plan to replace get the seals and locking clip. Seals come out easy specially when you intend to trash them You can jury rig a seal driver by oversized washer.
I replaced the boot with the kit. I was cheap and did not even pull the shaft out of the transmission and just undid the coupling (6 Allen bolts). Remember to mark and keep the transmission in "N" so that you can spin the shaft and easily access all the bolts by spinning the shaft.
Follow the manual except undo the spindle nut with the wheels on the ground (1st step).
Warning: Make sure you clamp the cv joint by positioning the crescent washers properly .. I had them wrong and the joint came apart. Took me a long time to put it together. Read my DIY if you want to go this way.
