Ran 2001 RX down 3 quarts of oil
So my wife took a trip and didn't check oil-got home and I had to add 3 quarts to bring to full-not sure how long it was down car runs and sounds fine-chances this did any permanent damage? Any thing I should do now?

That's how my woes started. I got home from a road trip and the oil light flickered on and off. I checked the oil level and was astonished to find it was down 3 quarts.
You may be suffering from a breather problem with the PCV valve? It's worth checking out.
