SRS Light flashing
Hi everyone,
the SRS light has been flashing for years now. I remember at some point I had a code related to the driver's seatbelt.
I bought the Tachyon software and BT OBDII adapter from ebay, and just checked the codes.
There are no codes anywhere, not in engine, not in A/C, not in SRS, nothing.
I had the dealer replace timing belts and the water pump, and I asked them to diagnose the SRS.
They said the ECU is bad, and it'll cost me $1k to replace.
Any idea what could be wrong? The tachyon software does have a reset button, but I don't think it worked since there are no codes.
Any ideas what I can do to reset/fix the SRS light?
If I do get a new ECU, is it's a simple replace procedure? What about the keys/remotes etc?
Thanks!

I shortened TC and GC pins in DLC plug, and the SRS light blinked a 72 code.
This points to code B0138/72, shown here:

What does it mean? the seatbelt pretensioner might be bad?
I've been reading that it might be a plug under the seat got loose, is it related? Do I just unbolt the seat and check the plugs?
Thanks!
