Default Newbie 2001 front end noise

Hello everyone, just purchased about a month ago an '01 RX 300 FWD seems to be a well cared for car. I have noticed a roar that seems to be coming from the front end area. I thought at first that it was the nature of the car but now not so sure. It starts about 25 mph and remains constant as speed increases. The po has replaced both front wheel bearings and brakes just recently. I don't think it is tire noise although tires and wheels have been replaced as Bridgestone 235-55-18?'s. Any thought's on what this might be ? Thanks I will finish my profile soon.

Car has 97 K on it.

Welcome to Club Lexus. Please read the owner's manual and the sticky threads here in RX300.

Do you hear the roar when parked, and gets louder as you press the gas pedal?
If yes then there is an exhaust leak at the flex coupling. This is based on most common problems around 70k miles.

235-55-18 doesn't seem like they're the right tires. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be 225-70-16, unless you have aftermarket rims? Good luck with the roaring sound! Is everything intact with the exhaust system?

Thanks for the reply's, The engine is very quite and runs smoother than any car I have had in the past. The roar is not there when the car is not moving so I don't think it is engine or exhaust related. It does have after market wheels 18 in. It sounds like a wheel bearing type noise but as in my original post the PO had them replaced along with the front brakes recently..
