System running Lean Bank1 engine light code
Hi Folks - New to this forum, definitely go through the forum and get better understanding before I post going forward. Bear with me for this first post.
Mine is RX300, 1999, 220K miles and Mechanic told me that the engine light that I am seeing is because of the code "System running Lean Bank1 engine light code". It was so co-incidence that I got my appointment and am driving to the shop, seen engine light on and told mechanic. He mentioned that we can proceed with the Timing belt, water pump & transmission flush ( long time planned) , Thermostat because car is not getting warmer enough and they diagnosed and suggested to replace thermostat. He suggested to try the Seafoam Fuel injector and drive for a week if that cleans the sensors, if not, can proceed with further investigation. Also quoted me that if it's O2 sensors they cost around 380$ ( not inclusive of labor). any thoughts on how should I proceed?
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you need an Air/Fuel (fancy O2) Sensor, about $100 for an OE Denso (do not use aftermarket). NEVER flush the tranny, only drain and fill. I'm personally not a seafoam fan for anything. How do you know it's not getting warm enough?
Advance Auto will price match Amazon, but you probably have to pay tax.
