Default Foglight Day running lights

I found a easy simple way to be able to have your fog light running separate from the headlights to where you can run the fog lights running during the day like a whole bunch of people have been wanting to do with their rx300 I'll post some pictures below with the end results NOTE: I have aftermarket hid's for my headlights and fog lights

Wink

It'd be nice if you told us how you did that. Not that I have any intention of doing that, but it may help others!

And this is your end results I have mine on all the time and when I need my headlights I just turn on the foglight switch it doesn't matter if the fogs are constantly on because when you lock the car "2 lock beeps" it automatically shuts them off sweet factory feature...anyways I hope I gave everyone a modification that was very hard to figure out but I cracked the secret lol so I hope everyone enjoys this and if anyone has questions feel free to ask me good luck and again thanks to everyone on here that has helped me with my rx300 and this is a small thanks to everyone good luck ~Anthony

It is only in HI-Beam mode that the fog lights are cutoff .... safety issue and in some places it is illegal ,,, that is why the manufacturers built the electrical switching this way.

I understand Salim i am working on a relay to shut off the fogs when high beams are on and still keep the headlights on.

Your picture in post 10 says it all ,,, you want to turn on fogs without turning on headlights.

I like it. Just wonder what the amperage draw would be on the relays. They may be the same, for all I know...
