2000 RX 300 plastic ext driveside panel removal
I sideswiped a tree by my driveway backing out pushing in the driver side front ext door plastic/rubber trim panel. How do I remove it so I can try to pop it out? I removed two nuts at the bottom of the door but it appears there must be clamps holding it in place?? Help.

Can you please elaborate ...
Are you talking about the cladding? The lower 1/4 (roughly) of the door exterior which is painted in a different color tone... (2 tone door of RX). You can buy these parts pre-painted from Lexus.
There was a DIY ... please search with the key word 'cladding'. If I find it I will post the link.

Judging from the image, the trim is held in place by some screws, plastic connectors, a metal strip on the underside and strong tape. I remember it being a royal pain to fix on my ES after someone backed into the side of one door panel in a parking lot. Good luck with it.

When the attached surface is deformed then it creates sidewise tension in the fasteners. Recall that one has to align the holes when you assemble. After removing all the fasteners, you may require larger than normal force to separate.
