does the bulb failure warning light monitor rear turn signal and reverse bulbs?
or is it only watching the 5 brake light bulbs?

It does not monitor the turn signals, reverse bulbs, and or license plate lights.

there are four 7440 bulbs... 2 for the left brake lights, 2 for the right brake lights

plus the 921 bulb for the third brake light in the center.

that's 5? or is my math wrong?

I'm just wondering if the failure of the reverse and turn signal bulbs(7440 and 7507)
are supposed to be detected as well?
