Hi Greg569, I bought my o2 sensor on ebay. it is a Denso #234-9009 and I was given to understand O.E.M. The codes went away for about 300 miles and then reset. The lights are an annoyance but as there are no drivability problems I have ignored it.

I used the same o2 sensor. I replaced one and the lights went on. Got the same code, 1135 I think.
Replaced the other 2 and no more codes!
Did the spark plugs last month. What a Job.
125k and only thing left is timing belt. Ive seen them go for a long time but need to do it soon.
Its like the dentist.

Well, the P1150 code reappeared tonight on my daughter's 2001 RX300 with 125k. It is running fine, but I may take it in to see what my mechanic thinks. I try to get most of her RX maintenance done while she's home from school for the summer. I'll let you know what he finds.
Took RX300 to mechanic and he confirmed P1150 code so we replaced the Bank 2 Sensor 1- part number 89467-48011. Good news was it didn't take long so only $50 labor, but bad news is he got sensor from nearby Lexus dealer so it was full price. Total $238. In reviewing my service history I found that Bank 1 Sensor 1 was replaced at 65k, so maybe I'm good for awhile.

Ok greg569 and Jimbug you changed the upstream o2 sensor and the problem persisted. Just to be clear how many are downstream? I can see one clearly is there another? Gregg you ref. to the other 2.

I thought It would be a tough job. I went out and bought the O2 sensor wrench and all.
It was so easy. Use common sense. Dont strip the threads.
I think the codes were 1135 and 1150. The codes gave me a false reading telling me it was the ones before the cat. I already replaced them. Replaced all three with denso from amazon, about $50 each.
No code in 2 years!................Knock on wood.
