When I start my 2003 RX300, there is a loud buzzing coming from the steering column area. I have removed the shroud but have been unable to locate it. It sounds almost like a warning buzzer and last about 20 seconds. It also, occasionally, makes a stuttering buzz when driving. Steering tilt works OK and no problems with the power steering. Anybody else have any experience with this? Video attached.
I heard your noise in the video and have no idea but just guessing it could be a problem with the Key Unlock Warning Switch or the Buzzer.
Please follow up and let us know what you find.
PS- not clear in the info if the buzzer is for seatbelt or a key reminder buzzer.
Hopefully others have ideas.
