Default DIY Transfer case extension oil seal replacement

Any DIY transfer case extension oil seal replacement information in the community? Observed a leak on the end of the Transfer Case Extension Housing the protuded onto the propller shaft that in turn (no pun intended) sprayed gear oil onto my exaust causing a nasty smell when stopped after a full driving cycle. This was found when following Lexmex's differential oil change DIY. I can take pictures when I get home from work. THANK YOU for any imput. I can do a DIY photo guide if someone has access to a sequential instruction set if this does not exist for the benifit of the community. I have done almost all the fluid DIY's on this site except trans, and thats next. Lexmex, anyone?

I apparently need to order

36115C - ($8.93) SEAL, TYPE T OIL (FOR TRANSFER EXTENSION HOUSING). SEAL, TYPE T OIL

33146A - ($21.55) DEFLECTOR, EXTENSION HOUSING DUST; DEFLECTOR, EXTENSION HOUSING DUST (ATM); DEFLECTOR, EXTENSION HOUSING DUST (MTM); DEFLECTOR, TRANSFER EXTENSION HOUSING DUST. DEFLECTOR, EXTENSION

02' AWD

1) SM insinuates that installation is reverse of removal (at least not contraindicated)

2) is some kind of SST needed for oil seal puller? (have not yet had reason to buy one but would love the excuse). I have harbor freight too, its 4 blocks away.

3) is this something I can complete in a long night? Its a primary car...have spare

4) torque specs for front propeller shaft anyone? my Haynes isint quite cutting it for this
