Hey gazi. The SL2Vu is almost impossible to find here in Europe. Can you please let me know if the SL2Vu adaptor connects to the plugs in the boot or direct to the back of the head unit?

Do you also know what the 4 plugs (2 Blue & 2 White) at the back of the head unit is for. There is an adaptor sold online which has 6 pins like in picture. It is just an adaptor or do you need something more advanced to decode the signal from reverse camera to the head unit?

It will connect back of the head unit. You could explore this link and find some helpful info: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...e-project.html

The red circle white plug (6 Pins) for add extra video in for the gps nav screen display. It has different shape. You could try to get 6 pin male plug for your female plug which you showed in your previous post for feed video in. It is easy to remove the white plug and if you not find the male plug You may solder the wiring. It is up to you.

Wow, thanks gazi. So which means you can connect a feed from a reverse camera to the 6 pin connector & view on head unit screen? Would you happen to know what the 6 pin connectors are for?

So that I can cut the connector off & solder AV connectors to feed the video from reverse camera.
Thanks again.

For reverse camera I feed from gps ecu in the trunk by Navtool adapter to the front display. For any other videos like dvd, etc. you could feed in the front display may be ( without any adapter). But for the reverse camera when you shift the gear to back up and It will of course not show in the screen rightway. You may get it by manualy. I honestly never try those setup which you thinking. Again you could try.
