Default RX300 (99) door lock actuator

Hi all I have just replaced the small motor in the unit as per the excellent instructions on this forum . I now cannot open the door lock from the inside by using the **** to release the locking mechanism ? I have taken it out and rechecked all and cannot find any reason for this . I did not dismantle the gear wheel or any other aspect of the lock as per the detailed instructions . All looks free and the large gear wheel returns to a stop easily when moved with the covers off. I now have 1 front door and 2 rear doors that also have the same problem as I did them all at the same time . Does anyone have some thoughts as to how I can sort this out ?
Regards Vicmar

If you mean the **** by the release lever ... that is purely mechanical .. like the brakes on the bicycle. Check the outer sleeve is in the right spot and held in place. You may also like to check the lock end and see if it is connected properly.

For the rear doors, make sure the child proof lock isn't engaged

It all seems to be ok at the lock end so I will pull it out again and recheck
Thanks .
Is there a diagram / picture of the lock end, on the forum that I can check against (I cant find one)
