I recently bought a 1999 RX300 and noticed a door speaker is blown. I've been reading a lot of threads about the different systems that could be installed on the 1999 RX300, either Nakamichi or Pioneer. My question is, without removing door panels, how can I figure out which system is installed so I know which type of replacement speakers/wiring I will need to buy?

Look on the head unit, above and to the right of the volume ****. If Nakamichi it will say so; if it says nothing, its Pioneer.

As pointed out above, if it says Nakamichi on the head unit, it's clearly Nakamichi, if not, it will say Lexus Premium Sound System...
