Leather Repairs - DIY
Since I am getting the RX300 ready to sell, I have been doing a lot of detail work.
My leather was worn, so I purchased a repair kit called Magic Mender (I know others on this forum have used this stuff). Also, I did not do a How-To write, as the instructions and video provided by the seller are sufficient.
If you want to do the same, these are the colors you need:
Dark Taupe is color 13
Ivory is color 375 (NOTE: do not use 315 as it says on the Magic Mender site, I originally did, and it's the wrong color)
Before & After progress pics (note, the work is nearly done, I will be going over everything one more time with the color coat)

This product looks very similar to what was used by my professional leather repair guy. My repair is still going strong after one year.
My professional used at least two kinds of filler/adhesive, custom mixed the matching color, and applied the color with an air brush. Still, a very strong resemblance.

Would this product work on a fairly worn leather steering wheel? See pictures in this thread to get an idea of how worn it is: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ing-wheel.html
