Seat Angle Mod
Just sharing a simple mod I did recently to increase the seat bottom angle of my driver's seat. I've had my 2001 RX300 for about 3 years and I've always felt I couldn't get enough thigh support. The mod involved shimming the front attachment point with washers. See attached picture.
1) Remove plastic covers from the 4 seat bolts
2) Loosen both rear bolts
3) Remove both front bolts
4) Tilt seat back and support with block of wood
5) Use dremmel tool to elongate forward the seat rail holes (necessary because change in seat angle will cause rail holes to no longer line up with threaded holes in frame)
6) Take bolts to hardware store and but the same thread size but 1/2 inch longer
7) Re-install with washers as shown in pic
8) Don't forget to tighten rear bolts.

Not a bad idea. This is the one thing my wife is complaining about. When we drive anywhere, she feels like she's going to slip forward on the seat when she is sitting in the passenger seat. There's just no thigh support in these seats.
