Default Figured I'd introduce myself

Hey ya'll, clearly I'm a noob to this board, but wanted to introduce myself! Been a Lexus owner for the last 8 years. LS400(first car), IS300(manual/blk on blk) and now my RX300 AWD that I've had for the last 4 years.

1999 RX300 AWD. 263,000 Miles on it.

Mods/Maintenance

-RX330(44k miles) engine swap at 250k miles
-Rebuilt Trans. at 200k miles
-Kicker components and rears (amp'd)
-10" Alpine Type E subwoofer

It's been a great daily driver from day one. I'm extremely lucky to have a family member that is a Master Tech at the local Lexus dealership, so I don't pay labor

Did you have any trouble with the engine swap? Did you have to swap the ecm from the donor as well?

Any pictures under the hood, I'm curious to see how the 330 engine looks in there.

Sry for the delay, I've been in the process of headed back to the USAF and it's been pretty hectic.

The only reason I went with the 330 was because the engine was available and for a relatively low price. I did swap the ecm and didn't really have any problems with it. I had no problems with fitment or wiring. I'll take pics this weekend and post them up.

Do you notice any difference in power/performance with the upgraded engine?

Have you considered putting in a tranny from a 330, to essentially have a 330 in a 300 body?

I should consider that upgrade. The body shop made a mistake and I already have a 330 emblem on the rear hatch of my RX300

When 330 were introduced, did the ECT-PWR button go away?

i wouldnt think ECT PWR went away they are present in both my 04 sc430 and 07is250 so my assumption is this is a standard feature on all their models
