Rattle noise at rear shock
On my 1999 with mileage, I've got rattle noise at the driver side rear shock. I think the bad piece is the one at the top, that insulates the strut/shock from the car. Sorry I don't know the exact name, maybe strut tower mount? But part number and picturewise it is "
Part No 48760-48010
The rubber dust type sleeve has broken. When I grab the spring, and yank it horizontally, there is a small movement causing a squeak and that only happens on the noisy side. There is blue paint on the spring, which may indicate a recycled part. And, the seller said he replaced these parts.
I'm thinking to take it to the same shop that I always have alignments done at, but would also like thoughts from here.

If you are replacing the strut mount, you might as well go ahead and replace the strut because they won't charge extra labor for that. Although it's recommended you replace struts in pairs.
