Default RX 300 Issues

1 - Sometimes when you turn the wheel, it makes a noise, I think it's from the leather.

2 - How do I fix the visor? It won't stay up.

Please use the search function, both of those things have been discussed numerous times in the past.

Hello. I hope this helps. On my rx300 I had a strange sound that developed when turning wheel. Was most noticible in colder weather. What I found was friction on the column assbly where it goes through cabin floor/firewall area. Sprayed area (rubber boot area around column) with WD40 . This eliminated strange noises . You may need to treat again over time. Good Luck. EZ fix for me.

Yup, that's the fix that the OP needs to do to cure problem #1. I spray the rubber boot down every year before winter starts.

BTW: Welcome to Club Lexus!

So I must be missing something...What does spraying WD40 in the steering wheel boot have to do with leather??!!

I get it: So when you spray the rubber boot the steering wheel will be easier to turn so you don't rub your butt as much on the leather seat trying to turn the wheel and sound goes away....How could I have missed it.
