My 2002 rx 300 will not turn over! it was fine when I parked it in the garage 4 months ago! I checked the battery and terminal and fuses! anyone have idea what it could be?

Welcome to Club Lexus!

Looks like you accidentally posted this in the second gen forum, but I'm sure the mods will take care of it and move it to where it belongs.

Does it crank? Or is it just a click, click? How did you check the battery? Load Test?
If the battery checks out okay on a load test, it's more than likely the contacts in the starter.

Moved to the 1st generation forum.

Welcome to the Club.

Even if you do have some charge in the battery, it still needs to be enough to turn the vehicle over. We just had to replace the battery in our 4Runner after it suddenly died. The voltage was down to 9.6V, enough to get the lights on, radio, etc, but turning it over and getting that engine to run wasn't going to happen.

If the vehicle sits that long without use, chances are high that battery is not going to have enough charge. That's why I'd use a battery tender if I was going to do something like that.

If it sat for 4 months, most likely the battery is the culprit. The started needs lots of juice. I would suggest an overnight charge and then have it tested.

One can quickly confirm battery related problems by getting a jump start [with jumper cables] from another vehicle.
