A/C blowing hot air
I just had ignition assembly replaced in my 99 RX 300 because the key was stuck in accessory position. After unjamming tumblers it was still difficult to get key out. To replace ignition assembly, had to remove dash, glove box, etc. My A/C-heater were working perfect, but now A/C is only blowing very hot air even at 66 degree setting. Cold air will only blow when set to "Max Air". As soon as temp moved up one degree, full force hot air blows. Suggestion
on what happened and how to fix, pls.

Try removing battery terminal for about 20 minutes.
In the mean time please search the forum for a/c self diagnostics.

I had the exact same problem and I figured out the issue. If you will remove the molding from under the steering wheel there is a sensor that screws into the molding, which has a vent on the other side of it. There is a black electric harness that needs to clip into the sensor. When I took mine off initially it kind of coiled back into the steering column and I had to fish it back down...but once I clipped it back in, it fixed my problem...hope this helps!
