Default Smell of raw gasoline

I have a Rx300 with 90k miles. The car runs fine and the gas mileage is as per specs. But when I pull into the garage at home and turn off the car, there is a strong smell of raw gasoline that goes away after 10 minutes. Is it coming from exhaust or there is a leak at the injectors

If you smell raw gasoline this sounds like a leak somewhere.
DO NOT PARK IN YOUR GARAGE!!! We like you and yours and want you around a long time. I am a volunteer and really do not feel like this kind of a call!!! A call like this would probably go into mutual aid (other towns on scene) so on and so forth. I would take it to Lexus and let them look at it even go as far as leaving it outside there garage and walking in to explain the issue.

Thanks very much for caring but I feel safe because the smell does not persist. In fact, I have had the car parked in the garage for for a week and there was no smell, indicating that there is no persistent leak. Also, if the car is running even for a long period, there is no smell. I only get the smell for a brief period (2-10 minutes) after I turn the car off.

I suggest getting it checked out at a local shop, there is only so much we can tell you to do over the internet, without seeing the problem. This could be highly dangerous or it could be quite simple.

Have you checked the gas cap? If it is open it should have triggered a code by now though.

happened to me whenever i used regular gas, do you use regular? If so try switching to premium that did it for me...I dont think alot of people had this issue but for me it worked.

I am assuming it happens because the ignitions quits - at least for one cycle - before the injector when I turn the car off, which causes unburnt gasoline to discharge through the exhaust.
