Default RX300 100,000 miles (no real services done yet)

Hey guys! My first time posting in here, so bare with me. I tried searching, but I have a lot of questions, and my time frame is limited.

Long story short, my uncle and aunt came to visit from norcal and are leaving next sunday. They have a 2001 RX300 with about (100,000) miles. My uncle used to be on top of things but 5 years ago had a heart attack that was supposed to take his life, but thank god it didn't and he's fought through it.

Okay, so as I was parking his car when he got here I noticed it needed an oil change. I checked the glove box for service history to see what has been done and hasn't and all I found was oil change receipts and tires/ balance and brakes, stuff that dated back to 2001. NOTHING like spark plugs, fuel filter, timing belt, engine air filter, cabin filter. He has a check engine light as well, and had a neighbor that is an EX CO worker of mine from a Lexus service department check and he said its the o2 sensor for bank one sensor 1.

I'm going to order all the parts on Sewell
-Oil Filter
-Cabin filter
-Engine air filter
-Timing belt

I want to know when the recommended spark plug change is as well as the fuel filter?

Also can I use regular coolant? or does the rx use the special coolant that my is350 uses?

I think thats about it. Thanks guys for your help!

SPARK-PLUGS @110k miles stick with OEM, Fuel Filter N/A
Coolant use Toyota/Lexus Only premixed or 50/50 with distilled water

Thx SALIM!

Anybody have the link to the o2 sensor I need from sewell? or perhaps a part number?

I can't seem to find the Timing belt and the spark plugs either on sewell under the rx300 section. I only see them included in the 90k and 120k packages.

First of all, it is very kind of you to do this for your uncle. If you get the chance, a complete fluid change would go a long way to getting more life out of the 300.

Trans drain and refill
Brakes
Power steering
Radiator
oil

A few questions:
1. Do you know when the last oil change was and if it was synthetic? What does the oil look like on the dipstick and what does it look like under the oil fill cap? This engine is famous for sludging and long OCIs with petroleum based oils are the main culprit.
2. What does the transmission oil look like? Was it every changed? Transmission failures are a fear of every RX300 owner and fluid maintenance is the best insurance against failures.

The above 2 items should be on the top of your priority list.

As to parts, I have used the following http://www.partsgeek.com and been very happy with the quality and broad selection of parts available for our vehicle

Good luck.
Scott

Thank you all for all your responses!

One last question before I make my purchase.

Part#; 8946549075

Is this the correct part number for the O2 sensor needed for a code thats showing a bank one error code?

Nope, that is for the one down by the catalytic converter. See post #4 for the correct info.

Yep, just change the quantity to one. You don't have to buy them or replace them in pairs. The one in the link to amazon is correct too and cheaper.
