Buzzing noise under glovebox when air is on?

Buzzing noise under glovebox when air is on?
hey whats up guys,
my girlfriend has an RX300 2000 with 157,xxxmiles. Every time she turns the air on, it will buzz for a sec depending on the mode and when switched to certain modes(air on face, feet or both) the buzzing stays on until we change the mode. I was listening for the buzzing and it seems to come from under the glovebox. Shes got a check engine light as well but i'll have to pull the codes and find out.
Please let me know what this can be and if you've experienced the same. Thanks
