Happened on my 2001 RX as well - dealer replaced oxygen sensor...

I don't have 1st-hand experience like a lot of people on the forum, but a search using "P1150 & P0174" yields a list of codes and their meanings. P1150 indicates Bank 2, Sensor 1 and P0174 indicates Bank 2. If you do a search on previous postings on the forum you can probably get a lot of DIY information, or you can just take it to a mechanic. Make sure the mechanic uses an OEM Toyota/Lexus (Denso-brand) sensor and not another brand.

The part is under $100 from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Denso-234-9009...=5336108637-20

I would not take it to a dealer for this. They will charge 3-4 times more than anywhere else. DIY or have a independent mechanic do it. It's about 1/2 hour job (or less).

Traveling with my 2006 RX330 currently in NEPA and my check engine light and VSC light came on. AutoZone (gotta love those guys) did the code check free ( I gave him $5 for his help) the codes came up as 13 codes ALL of them PO300, PO305, PO306 and PO171 some cleared but in the end the above were the codes still open. I live in Florida it is not back enough one must pay the dealer those ridiculous fees now I am away from home the local garage here said he was not comfortable working on the Lexus. Lexus dealer is one hour away. Any ideas? Help... Suppose to head back to Florida on Tuesday now????
