I shattered the rear hatch window and need it replaced. I purchased a replacement. I started to peel the old window off without much luck. How do you remove the edges where it is adhered to the trim?

Remove the black rubber trim first and then cut out the adhesive holding the glass. Don't forget to disconnect the heater and antenna wires first. It's is not that difficult but installing windshields/rear glass is easy to mess up if you've never done it before. Glass shops are pretty cheap these days (NOT the dealer).

As Keith says, the glass shop is the place to turn to. I have had plenty of experience with them, and at least in a lot of areas, they are HIGHLY competitive and have ALL the equipment and materials to do the job in a flash. It is ONE JOB you're much better having them do than trying to do yourself. Just call around and get prices for INSTALLATION ONLY.
