That is true. I believe my dipstick says that as well (2000).

Even cars with some of the best/most reliable transmissions still have failures here and there especially after 100k+. 99-00 RX's seem to be alittle more common though. Supposedly mid year 01 and up got the revised trans which is used in the highlander also. Notice you dont see many failures with those
