Default HID Lights question

i have a 99 rx300 with oem headlights but they're getting kind of dim so i was either deciding on getting an HID kit or stick with regular. Do i need to get the projection headlights or can i use the oem headlights with the hid kit?

I just put an HID (5000k bulbs) in our 2001 RX300...definitely better than the OEM lights.

Just be careful to aim them correctly so not to blind oncoming drivers....I've adjusted mine to improve lighting ahead, and have yet to have anyone flask me so all seems well.

we're supposed to adjust them? i just installed the hids and left the headlights positions alone. im sure other drivers did that to their aftermarket hids.

Last week I installed eBay hid kit...9006 are low beams, 9005 high beam, fogs are 9006 as well... Just know you might want to order white led for parking light when you do it so you don't have yellow parking light and nice white hid...
Also I don't think you need to aim them since there is a cover that is over thie low beam and reflects the light backwards, maybe high beams you might need to aim...
I was told if you have hids you cant use high beam,,but from what i see on these rx you could easily install high beams if you wanted, just might take 30 seconds to light up fully....

Is there a particular HID kit that does both low beam and high beam. The ones on ebay state only one or the other.

rx300 have different headlights for high and low beams, but on ebay just put HID high low in search. 9003, 9008, 9004 and 9007 are the bulbs that have high/low beams on one bulb.
