Push to Start?

Welcome to Club Lexus!
I've seen it done on other cars, not the RX though. But, it hasn't ever turned out to be working proper, always some issue. I personally don't think it's that cool, I like having a key.

The slush box makes the transfer of rotation to wheels to engine not possible.

My bad ... thought you meant push the vehicle to start and NOT the PUSH BUTTON start.
Push button start was discussed in the past .. If I recall correctly the push-button start is useful if you have a proximity unlock of the door. Very little advantage if you have to have the key in hand to unlock and then put it away to push button start. The other issue is the cylinder steering wheel lock.

It can be added to any vehicle....but probably would not function in the manor in which you would like (ie infiniti M45). It would be more of a novelty since you would still be required to insert the key and turn it to the 'RUN' position (at least in the custom set-up I did). The button only starts the car, to turn it off, you need to use the key as you normally would.
If you want it to work keyless....you are talking about a transponder (to replace the key and chip "lockout") and a custom programed electronic interface (to start and stop the motor), plus you would need to physically disable the steering lock mechanism.
If you want to have just a push-to-start button, that does nothing more than that, I can show you how, if someone can post up an electrical schematic of the ignition circuit, I'll make a wiring how-to.
