Battery Tender Users Please Read...
Folks,
I have been told that the BT Junior was beeping to the point where my neighbors have told me that my smoke alarm was being set off. I have not heard it myself, but I have it hooked to my '99 which is currently garaged out in Arizona, so the only temp extremes (if you want to call morning temps in the mid 30's extreme) are brief. Car is in a garage.
Has anyone ever had their BT Junior Beep like that?????? I can't find anything in the documentation on that thing that talks about that...We disconnected the unit, re-attached the clips, and all is well for now.
Much appreciated,

Battery Tender Junior
I never have had one beep at all before. I lost my BT Plus to a lightning strike, but it just got fried and stunk (yes I have the new one surge protected).
I saw a few people on the net say that it meant the battery was toast and a few said the tender was toast. I guess the easy thing would be to have the battery tested and see how it does. If it's ok then I would look at the tender. Contact Detran and see what they have to say. It can't be the 1st time it's happened.
