01 rx300 radio inputs

I lurked on this forum for a couple months and found a couple good threads regarding the addition of an aux port so that I can use my ipod with the stock radio.

I have come to the conclusion that I just don't care about using the CD changer anymore.

I can't seem to locate any diagrams of the back of the actual deck. I was under the impression that the CD changer connects with RCA/AV style inputs. If this is true, then I assume that I could just buy an 'RCA to 3.5mm' conversion cable and run directly into the CD inputs on the deck itself, and just leave the CD changer disconnected.

Sorry if I missed any thread that discusses method directly and if I have would anyone mind posting a link to it here?
