Default Brake Light Sensor with warning sound.

My foot brake is already disengage and yet the warning light still on and the buzzing sound comes and goes. Does anybody knows if this is a relay problem? I already disconnect the wire harness on the emergency brake switch. Please help!!!

I would suggest to look up in the user manual.

If you dont have one, try posting a picture to help us understand which lamp you are talking about.

In the mean time, check your brake fluid level. With an assistant, you can remove the brake fluid reservoir cover and slide the float up and down to see if it impacts your warning lamp.

Welcome to the Club.

Yes, I know what you are talking about the BRAKE light comes on and there is buzz/bing sound.

It could be the brake fluid level, but oddly enough, this happened to me about a week ago and what it turned out (I used a search in our forum to find this), is the electrical connection on the brake fluid reservoir (i.e., the wire leading from the top of the black cover to the electrical connector about 3 to 4 inches away)...that has a strong possibility if you disconnect that connector of temporarily alleviating the issue. You would still need to replace that cover/wire piece, but I just kept it off until I could fix it. In my case, I had a bad wire that I managed to do a minisolder job and it was up and running again, but I remember reading of a few other people in this forum that had to replace it and I don't remember the price being that cheap, but I could be wrong.

This happened to my RX300 from 1999. It was way beyond annoying that *ding ding ding ding ding* sound... I went to a Toyota dealer and they couldn't figure it out so I went to my mechanic and he disconnected it for me. I don't see the "Brake" light anymore but I don't mind that at all.
