Default How to access dealer maintenance/service records?

I wonder if there are online sites where I can access Lexus/Toyota vehicle maintenance/service records based on VIN numbers (to help me planning major replacements).

I have two 2000 RX300 AWDs in the family. We are second owner with one and thrid owner with the other, but there were no service records came with the sales several years ago. We don't have a Lexus dealer in 1.5 hour drive radius. The local Toyota dealer (where I go for annual vehicle inspections) doesn't provide Lexus information and parts - they order parts for me if I provide Toyota part number.

Go to Lexus.com. Click the owners at the bottom then hit my owners and then sign up there. Or you can just use this link..lol: https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lex...-lexus/home.do
Then, Enter all of the vins to the cars that you own which are Lexus, in this case two RX300's and it will show all of the service history.

Thanks!! I was a little nervous about the history. The previous owner went in for everything like clock work, woot hoot.

My Lexus (2nd owner / 100K miles) service history has many line items which list various parts such as "Differential", "Exhaust System", "Radiator-fan", "manifold-muffler", "STEERING WHL/MAIN SHAFT", "BATTERY/COIL SPK PLUG", etc... Not sure how to interpret. Can't have all been replaced...

When it say's differential they probably just serviced it, not replaced it. I wish they put more details in the description.

Any dealer can print out the entire report for you, mine tells me. That will give you details which don't show up online.

Mine too, She went in at 1,000 miles for the garage door homelink not programming and the transmission jerking a little. She had the car serviced at every interval that is was suppose to by the dealer. So i think im in the clear with this one...haha.

My dealer service history doesn't go back beyond about 2003-2004. Before that, nada (I've owned the car since new in early 1999). Does anybody else have records that go back further than that?

Yes, my RX has records ever since the car had wheel locks put on when it had 4 miles. My car has the service history up to 109k miles, which is when I bought it. After that, It's never been to the stealership.

That was interesting, thanks. I knew my car was local and was a CPO at 27K but I had never seen all the records before. They go all the way back to 5 miles on Oct. 10 2001.
