Try AutoRx. I don't have any personal experience with it but some people here speak very highly of it.

No miracle oil will solve your knocking problem.

It could be a worn out lifter and hopefully it did not damaged the head.
You need to figure out which lifter it is. Maybe you get lucky and it's in Bank 2 ( radiator side)

If it's a broken valve spring. It's still doable w/out taking the head off.
Worse case scenario is a broken valve.

Who told you the valve lifter was bust?

Engine knock pops up CEL, so do you have one?

what weight oil are you using? sure its not lifter tick? a knock and a tick sound pretty different though.

Don't these cars have solid lifters that are shimable?

I was under the impression that they are hydraulic lifters which take some time to fill up and the chatter goes away. Now need to come up with another explanation for the cold morning chatter with wider wider range engine oil (W weight).

Artbuc , code58 and carguy are right.
These are solid lifters that are shimmable if the clearance is too big.
I think the "GR" motor in the 350 are hydraulic though.

The OP stated it was a "knock".
Which leads me to believe something is broken or severely worn.

Hopefully it's a "tick" or a "tapping" noise instead.

Are any of you noticing any chatter/ticking/tapping in cold weather?

I have had chatter in the winter months. I have recently replaced the knock sensors and the weather has warmed up. [My cel kept coming back during Dec and Jan]. I will monitor and report back.
