I am always amazed at how clean everyone keeps these vehicles, even after so many years of the on the road.

Your car i exactly the same as mine, but mine is a 2002. What gas mileage have you been averaging and how many miles do you have on it?

He might push the RX by hand and not pay a dime in gas. You never know.

Same color as my 2001 RX. I have a few more paint chips though. Only put about 5,000 on mine so far, OD is at 108K and I get 21.8mpg in combined city and highway driving. Mostly highway though.

Which must mean he has the transmission shift problems...

Great looking condition, clean, congrats on the purchase. Most Lexus owners keep their cars immaculate, good to hear you'll be following the tradition.

Or ala F&F, "you could push it across the finish line". Seriously, back in Mexico at my track we had one instance in one of our first 1/4 mile bracket competitions (remember that's the one with staggered starts), where both cars stalled near the end of the track and neither racer could get the cars going, so one got innovative, got out and pushed the car across before the other guy (who was in front of him and didn't look behind) got wind of this.

All weather mats getting stuck on the accelerator. Tragic accident but with a little common sense, there's no issue.
