2000 RX300 AWD engine whine
I have a 2000 RX300 noise (high-pitched whine) that only happens when the car is between 40 and 45 mph. Accelerating or decelerating within that zone. The noise is coming from the front of the car.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Club.
There is a gear switch around that speed. I'd verify the color and smell of the transmission fluid and note when you last changed it.
