Default Oops, I seem to be missing a trim piece

I just noticed I was missing a trim piece on the passenger side back door.

I'll try to find one at SewellParts.com

That piece seems to be missing on many RX's. I think I even made a thread about it. I noticed that piece missing on every single RX that I looked at when I was shopping for one. I never bothered to get the piece for mine. Must have been built on Friday at 5 pm or something.

These are always falling off my daughter's car. As soon as I saw the title to the thread, I was sure this was the piece you'd be talking about!

Thanks guys!! Wasn't really expecting those responses. Kinda humorous.
Oh well, I guess if it's taken me six months to notice it was missing I won't worry about it.

Found the thread I made on this: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...iced-this.html

Seems like most responses state that it fell off of theirs.

Once the snaps or the slot gets deformed or loose their flexibility, they fail to secure things. As vehicles age, I try not to touch anything unless it is a must.

When you guys do find a replacement, take the extra steps of securing it with velcro (tm) or some soft glue.

I sent and inquiry email to sewell parts to see what this piece costs if they have it available.

Here's what I found out from Sewell Parts:

Part is $3.72 with our discount plus $10.77 shipping. So, makes more sense to order along with other parts to save on shipping.

Here is their email response when I emailed them the same photo I posted here:

Hi Jim,

This piece is hidden in the armrest/visor section…

PNC 74225

You’ll want to choose p/n 74225-48010-E0 for the sandalwood trim.
