RX 300 Bug Deflector Pictures
Looking for a bug deflector for my new RX 300. Preferably, clip-on/bolt-on. 3M adhesive solutions would be considered last.
I have to see it before I buy it and I don't see too many pics online. MKilty has a couple in the photo gallery.
Any assistance in locating photos/URLs will be appreciated.
Thanks,

Well, crap-ola. I just took all of my magazines home that had the advertisements for the RX bug deflector. Car and Driver usually has this advertisement page (2-pages actually). The one in the ad looks pretty good to me, but I would only use one periodically to prevent stone chips while on the highway. So, easy on/off application would be helpful.
Unless someone else has some suggestions/sites it'll be a couple of weeks before I'm home again with my magazines.

Wait now, forget the magazine. Here is a picture online that is extremely similar, and will serve just as well. The one I was referring to was Weathertech brand.
Here is a picture of one standing alone, probably b/c it's so expensive no one want's it on their RX BUT, there is no drilling or tape - so the ad says.
I think this one from Urban Jungle is a Weathertech. The price looks more appealing too.
Unfortunately, the WeatherTech for the RX requires 3M tape b/c of the RX's hood design

Hey Paddy Wagon!!!!!
That's the one I tried to post a few weeks ago.....got mine from my dealer even has Lexus moulded into the bottom corner of it.
And yes it takes a little getting used to, but after my 3rd big rock chip, I decided to go for it, cost about 100 Canadian bucks (dunno about 12 U.S.?kidding)
The front end of the RX is pretty damn nice, shame to have a bunch of rock bites to ruin it...
Maybe the land down south has miles and miles of rock free driving, but up here there are too many stones on the roads and the windshields and hoods take a beating........
function over fashion...

Yes, beaker I do hate to cover the front of the RX but I understand why you chose the deflector - it'll pay off in the future. No offense meant, just my lowly opinion Doesn't mean it doesn't look good to others.
...And with the current U.S./Canadian exchange rates, $12 isn't far off!

Hey LexRX, none taken.....
At least this deflector doesn't scratch the paint like oh-so-many car "bra's" back in the late 80's, how many cars did you see with front ends not dented or chipped, but scratched all to hell from the dirt behind the bra.....
Happy RXing.......

I'm still looking...I understand this one from Iron toad installs/removes in 15-20 minutes, so I don't need to keep it on full-time.
I have to drive on Interstate 95...400 miles each way. My last vehicle's nose was eaten up by rocks, so any protection I can get for my RX is paramount.

Paddy Wag, if you plan on putting it on just for protection I would recommend the one from iron toad. I may not think it looks good, but the reason it doesn't it the reason with works so well. It protects the front part of the bumper (circled below) that is will get hit by road debris. IMO, if you need protection with a bug shield, this on has it "covered"

Or you could use a Red Snappers, at only 95 cents a pound, it would cost you under 10 dollers.......U.S. of Course
I suggest perhaps three, two nose to tail and one under the two..
I'm am unable to suggest a good adhesive at this time.....
