Just push the gas to the floor. I bet that would solve the issue once in for all!

Yes, very much a PITA! I've learned to live with it, but! After driving our Camry for a few days then going back it's very noticeable!

It's only a PITA during the winter when it takes a while to get to the second temp marker. In the summer, it either never kicks in,or takes about 1 miles of driving and you're warmed up.

For me, no problems... have gotten use to it.

Well, it's an emission control thing, so I doubt the dealer would do anything even if they could. It only lasts 1/4 mile or so in ours (maybe 1/2 mile in the winter). May be longer up there in PA winters but it's been pretty warm this weekend (I was up there).

No, but that was me pissing and moaning at Daniels BMW when I went to get a new windshield washer hose connector for my daughter's 530i. "The plastic hose connectors aren't available separately; all we have is the complete fluid/electrical harness for $75".............

When will I learn!!!

Next time I'm up there, we can get together for a beer and compare transmissions!

A few years ago when I had the delayed cold shift issue on my 99 rx300 awd.

The local Lexus dealer said I have the better transmission in the 99 and it was normal.

I clean the MAF sensor, it was dirty (50,000 miles). (see the threads on doing this)

Now shifts normal like it is suppose to! Plus a boost in performance & gas mileage as well.
