If you read before I haven't even made it that far.; Lexus denied there was even sludge in the engine. Toyota dealer documented for me. Claim already denied by Lexus so it's going to a third party. Obviously since I'm the third owner it's pretty tough to have all oil changes documented. i have tracked down previous owners (actually gone to the extent of doing a skip trace because prior owner moved with no forwarding address, which has included tracking down relatives) Odds are, I will get screwed and have to pay myself(which I already have and hoping for some reinbursement) So to the question I asked prior, when I purchase I vehicle from a dealer aren't they supposed to provide a copy of the oil sludge settlement with the car? Also I'm experiencing other issues as well. After I sent out my engine for rebuild the diagnosis is that there are other problems than sludge. ECU,knock sensor, or some other electrical issue. This vehicle was at a Lexus dealership with 79,800miles and now engine shot at 87,000. I doubt very much they didn't find any evidence there was an issue with the vehicle especially with the extent or engine damage that has been done here. Long story short someone stuck it in and broke it off.
