RX300 Engine Swap
Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting. I recently purchased a rx300 that is having problems and the shop says it needs an engine overhaul.
I was wondering if a JDM engine was an option. There are a few shops that have the 1mz-fe listed on their website, but they don't list it for the rx300 (just es300, camry, sienna).
Would any 1mz-fe engine with vvt-i drop right into my awd x300? or am i missing something?
Thanks for the input

Just be carefull where the engine mounts are located. My neighbor ordered a engine and had to return it because it didnt have the engine mount on the crankshaft pulley end of engine. (For a Highlander) Apparently some of Toyotas line of 1mze-fe engines had different mount points.
