I think you may have already done this one (can't remember), https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx3...-write-up.html

However, cleaning this can reduce some idle issues that can cause a P0171.

Are those sensor readings you got changing over time on the banks?

And what is the high reading/low readings that you get?

Hello!

Thanks for the link!

i cleaned the valve with brake-cleaner. it was not ok, but not the failure but the idle speed is ok

Today, i changed the Transfer oil, is very easy to change. Is this oil old or newer?

I checked the exhaust system of holes, no holes, only by the new gasket was a little bit black, i cleaned with sand paper and gives exhaust repair mass. And by the springs washers for more pressure.

i would be change the oxygen sensors from bank 1 and bank 2 to change, but the sensor was tight after 1 turn any solution for this problem?

i orderd a new maf-sensor to test. its 176tkm old, looks ok....i test

the failure comes for a short time (5sec) the engine bucking very little and runs after this normal, not more consumption, normal power. ist day to day better.

yesterday comes my new summer tires, its Falken Ziex 912

greets

Tom

Tom,

If you are only getting P0171 and not other errors, then the exhaust sensors would not be a problem. I wouldn't worry on changing them. I get P0171 codes every so often, but I used to get them more often when I was in Mexico and did a lot more experimentation with intake and exhaust modifications. There may be something there that is too small to detect.

Did you also change the oil in the rear differential?

Hy!

Only the P0171 failure. one time was P0174.

Yes, i changed the rear diff oil. this lokked better as the transfer oil.

Today, i changed the springs from Eibach to Original. The suspension is sometimes to hard. I test with the Original springs and the Kayaba Ultra SR

To change, i needed 2,5h with wheels change ist very easy on the RX to work.

Thanks Thomas. Last Saturday i received my Delta exhaust from Germany but there is no manual or instructions how to install with my RX 300 AWD. I contacted with the seller for the manual but he told me that there was no manual in the original box. So i need the manual but don't know where to get it? Do you have your manual? Is it possible to give me a copy if so? Thanks.

Hy!

I look today for the manual, i have oin the outside many of papers in a letter. I installed the system without manual

Is very easy.

demount the old exhaust (last sektion)
demount the left (driver side) the towing lug ans mount the holder
install the new hook on the frame for the new left side exhaust (its only one hole)
install the rubber bearings on the new hooks
mount the right side exhaust with the y-pipe and make a marker on the original exhaust pipe for cut this.
Cut the pipe (the original pipe goes in the new pipe and fixed with a clamp)
install the right side exhaust, thy y-pipe on the original pipe
install the left side exhaust with the pipe, is not easy to install all pipes in one step.
adjust the exhausts correct and fixed the clamps.

i hope you have not the gas tank cleaning unit under the chassis on the driver side!

Hy Gazi!

i looked in the cover, only the legal certifications and a small instruction manual, without picture and very simple, not specific for the RX300

Today, i become my maf-sensor!!

a short look in the sensor, i see 1 wire and 1 resistor is this normal or a upgrade maf-sensor? my original Sensor have 2 wires.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-06...Q5fAccessories

i have bought this one? is this correct?

Thanks for help

greets

Tom

Hello!

i have installend, after 10km the first failure, P1133 (insufiance switching O2Sensor bank1) and after new start and reset P0100 (MAF Sensor flow failure).

i change back and test again. i think, its from the new maf sensor the current consumption is also high, higher as with the original sensor.

*edit*

i changed the maf sensor to my old one, normal consumption, no failure.
