Default Rear alignment problem

So apparently, when I was doing my alignment, my mechanic said something about a screw not moving at all in the toe in/toe out (forgot what he exactly said ... as you can see, I'm not a car expert) and he assumed it is because I probably hit something and that my rear alignment is gonna mess up my tire life. He also said he's too scared to put too much pressure on it or it'll break off. At the moment, it's at 34 degrees or so ... But it should be between 5 to 25 degrees.

So what exactly is the problem? He said a part needs to be replaced but I couldn't really understand because of his broken English.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense.

You need a mechanic who thinks AND speaks in good english, not pig-english. I always worry about people who can't explain things in an understandable way. No possibility of those degrees #'S. I doubt that you hit something or it would show the damage. IF it WILL NOT move, it's more likely from rust, not damage. I am assuming that from where you live. IF it's rust, all it takes is a little heat from an acetylene torch to break that right loose. You can tell that I lived in rust country (a long time ago).
