I'm afraid I'm going nuts, but I've firgured out the problem, but don't know the solution. My climate control "heat" does not work when a low pressure weather front is moving in and present. Other wise, heat and A/C work fine. When a low pressure weather front comes in, the heat quits working. Normally when things are working fine, you can hear the door changing the air flow from cold to hot inside the vents, but when the front is here, this feature doesn't work. Tommorrow is supposed to be beautiful and guess what, the heat will work again. This has happened about 6-7 times this winter and the problem is quite intermittant but have narrowed down the issure to stormy bad weather days.
Any ideas???

I'll go see a doctor, guess I am nuts. I know it happened, but I guess the weather wasn't the problem.

The servo motor was stuck/jammed. Had I known it was that easy to get to, I'd have checked it sooner. With a little nudge, it began working again, but it chatters, so I'm guessing the servo is going out. Since its Texas, and the part is so easy to get to, I'll set the control arm where it needs to be for the season and unplug the motor and when the season changes again, reset the position of the control arm. I guess it is better it gets stuck in the closed position vs. open so the A/C always works.
Any ideas of a part number and/or cost of this motor?

Yeah,I believe that`s what it is ^^^^^ I have always said all of these bells and whistles are great,until they go bad!! Sometimes I almost wish I had a simpler vehicle.(until I get behind the wheel the next morning)then its likeh yeah,thats why I like this vehicle so much.

The weather is getting cooler and no heat presents an uncomfortable condition. I read the thread on removal, "very helpful" and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The servo was chattering in several positions based on the temp setting and would get stuck in the "no heat" position, and recently I could hear it clicking like a plastic gear was jumping. Inside the servo is a couple gears, a motor and some pretty stiff contacts, certainly not rocket science, no threat of loose parts. One of the threads mentioned buying some lubricant, but I found that there was plenty of extra lubricant on the other side of the contact wheel that was never used. I basically cleaned the the used side of the contact wheel with some degreaser, and then took my finger and spread the remaining grease from the unused side of the contact wheel to the functioning side. I very lightly sanded the copper contacts. Snapped it back together and it works just fine. Thanks for all the information, it took less than an hour to remove, rework and re-install.
