Cel code p0500 for vss/ should i change the sensor ?
Few days before i was trying to pull out from the parking by using snow selector swich on with low speed but skid and pushed more speed for get out from the parking spot. I saw a CEL and checked code P0500 VSS. It was bad snow in NYC. I have 2000 AWD. I reset the CEL that day and drove about 50 miles. I didnot see any CEL now. Should i change the speed sensor or not ?
The transmission feels like ok and same like before. Any recommendations welcome.
