hi,
i have been having a frustrating time with the dome light (front interior light.) of my 2000 rx300.
i have tried several bulbs (same brand though) and i have to keep tweaking the location of the bulb in the holder to get it to turn on.
only once i turn off the light it may not work again. more likely than not it won't.
i am thinking the bulb brand may have some issues because once the bulb endcap come on one of them. i soldered it back, but problems continue to be there.
the other feeling i have is that the replacement bulb (bought at Kragen) may be slightly larger than the OEM bulb and may be the cause of the problem.
anybody else has this problem?
thanks,
sanjay

Have you taken out the plastic light fixture to see if there is a bad connection in the switch? Slight movement at the socket may be enough to make/break the circuit.
