New wheels on the RX! (pics)

I liked the idea of 20's, but then without a drop the rubber looks way to skinny for my taste. I don't want to drop this one because we want to keep some utility in it for the winters when we're up in MI. Plus these rims/tires mounted and balanced only cost $475 (the tires have ~500 miles on them, so I was pretty happy with the deal!)
20's look like it needs a drop so it has to be 18's or 22's.
18's are far most practical but 22's provide the bling factor.

I have 255/55/18s and there was slight rub. Went with 25mm spacers/adapters and now i LOVE the wide look.
Unfortunately I moved from TX to WA and would be going with 235 tires next time around for better wet/snow traction.

I recently sold my '02 RX300 and had 275x40x20" Hankook Ventus tires on 20" Zinic rims with no clearance issues at all, not sure what the offset was, could have being 38mm.
It tracked beautifully with a planted feel, unlike stock tires. Heres some pics.
