I have replaced the 02 sensor and had a smog check done and the test results is showing proper %'s but the vsc and the engine light still are on and the P1155 code still comes up when the computer is scanned.
Can anyone help me get the vsc and engine lights off on my 01 RX300?

That is because it is the sensor`s heater circuit.they pre heat to get up to operating temp. faster.Technically,it will drive fine,but to get rid of the code/light you will have to replace it.

Just to clarify,you said o2 sensor.Did you mean the air flow sensor? They are located on the exhaust headers.(bank 1 & bank 2) The only o2 sensor is located after the cat.converter.and usually does not go bad very often.

royaladd- which A/F ratio sensor did you replace? The 1 on the rear, next to the firewall or the 1 on the front that you can see when you look straight down when you open the hood? The code (P1155) should be the front one. The chart I looked at has that erroneously listed as B1S1, which would be the rear. P1155 is actually heater malfunction in the front sensor which would be B2S1.

Thanks again,I replaced the front sensor,I checked for continuity of the heater which is good and voltage is getting to it as well.
You say that you have a chart that it could be the rear sensor? My info has it as the front but I guess I can check the rear one again as I had changed the front to the back when it first malfunctioned.That changed the code from rear to front at which time I replaced the bad sensor now at the front.
When I clear the codes on my scanner the engine light goes out momentarily but the vsc light stays on.

royaladd- No, what I said is the chart has P1155 ERRONEOUSLY listed as B1S1 which would be REAR. P1155 is in fact B2S1 which is front- so you changed the right one.

OK not to hijack your thread but instead of another thread on VSC Check Engine I will post in here. I also have the same Code P1155 - Manufacturing Control Fuel Air Metering and P0115 Engine Coolant temp Circuit malfunction. What parts do I need to buy for this and where do you recommend (online) that I buy them from? I just had the coolant sensor replaced not too long ago and I have about 120K miles on the car.

Well, I'd first tackle P1155 first, the A/F sensor on the B2S1 before going after P0115.

P0115 could be related to the engine coolant temperature sensor itself (if it still shows up after replacing the B2S1 sensor) or even the thermostat (though less likely).

Certain OBD2 scan tools can read the engine coolant temperature:

If the scan tool reads -40C then there is an open circuit, whereas if it shows 140C or more then there is a short circuit, either of which will pop off the light.

I sort of remember a case with the RX300 perhaps about 2 years ago where after one replaced the A/F sensor, the P0115 cleared up. Keep in mind that the P0115 code causes a default setting of 80C for the engine coolant to be assumed.

Just for curiosity sake where did the name "Manufacturing Control Fuel Air Metering" come from for code P1155 ? The chart I looked at says "Air Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction", which would be correct for that code. Lexmex as usual has given you good direction on the answer. He'll also give you good direction on obtaining the parts.

I got that directly from the scanner/computer at autozone when they hooked it up for me to read the codes.

funny...my car wouldnt accelerate today while driving and the check engine light and both VSC lights are on.

I used a scanner and read P1121 - Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering and not P1155. Any idea what this could be?
I have a 99 GS 400, not sure if theres a big diff with the RX's

Is it ok to drive?
