Brake Problems Brake Booster ABS Adjugator
I am really frustrated w/ my car, which I loved until recently! I have changed my brakes, master cylinder twice (the first one bought from lexus dealership was faulty) and now was told I need a brake booster ($1,200) and possibly an ABS Adjugator (sp???) for $2,900.
I read on another blog that the ABS Adjugator can be damaged if the car is not used for more than 3 weeks, my car has been at the dealer for 7 weeks!
Has anyone had any of these experiences or know anything about the ABS? I have lost alot of faith in my Lexus dealer

Well I am sorry to hear about the brake troubles, it can be frustrating. I think you are referring to the ABS Actuator. Personally, I would try a salvage yard for the part, I am sure that there is a lot of speculation about new vs. used here, but for a part that expensive, to me it would be worth a shot. Typically the parts are tested or deemed to be in good order before they are offerred, and do usually have a return policy. Try Toyota Auto Parts Recycling (TAPS) based in CA, they have several RX's in their inventory and have always dealt fairly with me in the past. www.taprecycling.com or call them at 800-765-7100. I wish you the best with your brake problems......

Your post does not mention the problem and symptoms. Apparently Lexus is already trying to fix a problem with some logical process [sequentially change one thing at a time].
